The team

Jon Dailey started in construction management in Austin, Texas, and has spent twenty years in the field across a range of disciplines. When the family moved to Florida in 2014, he brought that experience into the Orlando commercial market and has been building relationships there ever since. He knows what bid prep actually looks like from the inside — which is to say, he knows it's broken, and exactly where it's broken. He runs GC relationships and brings the network that makes a directory like this actually work.

Karen Dailey builds the software. Solo developer, no-fluff approach, focused on shipping a product that respects a GC's time and a sub's professionalism. The platform is built on modern infrastructure, designed to stay fast and simple as it grows. No bloat, no enterprise-software bureaucracy, no race-to-the-bottom lead-gen tactics.

Together, the two halves of Sunstate Trades are what the industry has been missing: someone who knows the work, and someone who knows the software.

Sunstate Trades is in its proof-first phase. We're starting in the Orlando metro and growing carefully from there — Tampa, Jacksonville, and Miami are on the horizon. While we build density, the core directory is free for GCs* and free for subs. Post RFQs, receive bids, invite your network. No catch.
